You ever have one of those days and just think, “Wow. That was crazy.” That’s how I felt after this week’s worship gathering at The Bridge…
Some worship leaders will get this and others will not. Some mornings there is nothing you can do to be prepared for what The Lord is going to do. Some mornings our plans go as planned and well others, He just kinda takes over. I really believe that is what happened this week for us.
Honestly I knew it before we even began. I think I knew planning for Sunday that it wasn’t going to go as planned and I’m ok with that. I learned to actually like it this past summer leading worship with Clear Camps where sometimes the Lord just takes over and there’s nothing we can do about it but enjoy the ride.
Spirit-led is where we want to be. I know there are guys on both sides of the coin. In the past I’ve been the strict, “This is how we do it” guy but lately it been more of, “Plan but leave room for the Spirit” kind of thing. I don’t know if I’ll ever be a completely unplanned worship leader because I like a direction.
Anyway. Here’s where the Lord led us this week…
